Tree House Flavor - Milk & Cookies OUT NOW!

    Friday, June 4th, 2010

The generation that created the Hip Hop  of the 1990’s grew up, had kids, and realized that their kids needed something to listen to. Tree House Flavor combines a dedication to nurturing the minds of children with a passion for Hip Hop and it’s original idea of positively empowering the youth.

Comprised of emcees Ski & Vibe formerly of Chicago underground hip-hop group “Blah-Zae-Blah”, Treehouse Flavor has reinvented themselves to inject a little friendly neighborhood b-boyism into hip-hop. Tell your kids that this is what fun hip-hop sounds like and proceed to the nearest playground with your retro boom box and… TURN IT UP.

Beatmonstas - Bomb Till We Hit Em (LP)

    Monday, August 3rd, 2009

“Bomb Till We Hit Em” marks the return of Chicago’s Beatmonstas with the ever present 90’s flavor that they’ve become known for. Beatmonstas created the bulk of this album in 2 different states during the years of 2005-2008. The outcome is an album that is as avant-garde as it is straight up Boom Bap. Recorded mostly in the Bush era, Bomb Till We Hit Em is truly a reflection of the times with it’s socio-political consciousness and witty lyricism.

Production by Noble Dru with a few assists from Dig Dug, Phashara & Mistaloo Mef. Features include Prince Po (Organized Konfusion), Creature & cuts by world renowned DJ 3rd Rail.
